Cyprus Consul General Michalis Firillas
Michalis Firillas has served as the Consul General of Cyprus in New York since September 2021. With over 14 years of diplomatic experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, he has contributed to various international relations efforts. Prior to his current role, he was a Senior Staff Writer for Haaretz/IHT and served as a Commercial Counselor for Cyprus’ Ministry of Industry and Trade. Michalis holds degrees from Harvard University and Tel Aviv University. His career reflects a strong commitment to diplomacy, commerce, and international journalism.
