Each year we recognize business leaders who demonstrate a commitment to fostering U.S. engagement overseas, entrepreneurial approaches to global challenges, innovation, participation in transnational efforts to enhance global peace and prosperity, and mentorship of the next generation with the Global Leadership Award. Previous awardees include Punit Renjen (former Deloitte Global CEO), Jean-Yves Fillion (CEO of BNP Paribas USA), and Dr. Rajiv Shah (former Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development).
Equally, we honor an emerging leader with a passion for sound global engagement and dedication to the public good with the Ted Sorensen Award. Theodore (Ted) Sorensen was an American lawyer, writer, and advisor to President John F. Kennedy. Previous awardees include Alexander Vindman, Clarissa Ward (CNN’s Chief International Correspondent), and Saima Mirza-Farooq (Federal Reserve Bank of New York).
Lastly, we will be presenting the inaugural Global Innovators Award in International Affairs to a dynamic individual who demonstrates exceptional innovation and unconventional approaches to addressing complex global challenges.
