Deep Dives: China 2021

DEEP DIVES: CHINA 2021

Go Behind the Scenes on One of the World’s Most Important and Complex Countries

What?
The goal of Network 20/20’s Deep Dives is to provide multi-layered and informative discussions encompassing a critical topic in geopolitics-in this case the rise of China- through a series of briefings with high-level experts. Over the course of eight dynamic sessions, the hand-picked participants will have the unique opportunity to learn about China’s diplomacy, history, culture, and economy. Using the framing question, “How would widening the lens of understanding about China impact U.S. policy toward Beijing?”, participants will have the opportunity to refine their thinking by injecting nuances into their understanding of this vitally important country.

Who?
The participant is an intellectually curious and high-achieving person who wants to deepen their global affairs knowledge in an intimate and dynamic setting. They equally want to develop a network of colleagues from diverse backgrounds who are interested in the focus of the Deep Dives.

When?
This program happened in the Fall of 2021.

Where?
All in-person dinner discussions were hosted in midtown, Manhantan, New York City. Our virtual sessions were held via Zoom.
