SPEAKER:

Ms. Hannah Young

Hannah Young is the Consul General at the British Consulate in New York City, covering New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Fairfield County in Connecticut. Hannah was previously the UK Deputy Consul General to New York and was the Prime Minister’s lead official on home affairs policy, a brief that covered policing and criminal justice to counter terrorism and immigration. She has a background in both international and domestic policy. Previous roles include establishing and leading the International Agreements Unit within the UK’s Department for Exiting the EU, as a Senior Advisor in the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit, Cabinet Office roles on migration and intelligence policy and three years as a UK diplomat in Afghanistan at the height of the conflict, capacity building national police forces.
