The 2023 Innovators Awards in Global Affairs

The Innovators Award in Global Affairs recognizes and celebrates dynamic individuals or organizations that demonstrate exceptional innovation and unconventional approaches/initiatives in addressing complex global challenges.

 

Potential awardees can be in the following categories but are not limited to:

  • People-to-People Diplomacy and Sustainable Cultural Exchanges: Recognizing initiatives that foster cross-cultural understanding, promote people-to-people diplomacy, and facilitate sustainable cultural exchanges to enhance global cooperation and mutual understanding
  • Global Advocacy and Diplomacy: Acknowledging organizations that engage in international affairs advocacy, championing important global issues, and influencing policy through diplomatic efforts.
  • Track II Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution: Acknowledging initiatives that facilitate non-governmental dialogue and engagement, promoting peaceful solutions to international conflicts and fostering mutual understanding.
  • Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response: Highlighting organizations that provide innovative approaches in delivering humanitarian aid, responding to crises, and addressing the urgent needs of affected communities worldwide.
  • Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution: Recognizing initiatives that actively promote peace, mediate conflicts, and support efforts to build sustainable peace in regions affected by political instability or armed conflict.
  • Digital Diplomacy and Technology Innovation: Recognizing initiatives that leverage digital platforms, technology, and innovative approaches to enhance diplomatic efforts, global communication, and cross-cultural engagement.
  • Economics and Global Development: Celebrating initiatives that address economic challenges, promote sustainable economic development, foster economic exchange, and contribute to reducing poverty and inequality on a global scale.
