Kenza Aissaoui is an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, double majoring in International Relations and Cinema & Media Studies. Her academic work explores the intersection of global politics, media, and cultural narratives, with a particular focus on international security and foreign aid. She has studied a range of topics including comparative politics of developing areas, American foreign policy, and European diplomatic history. Kenza is especially interested in immigration and refugee policy. Her commitment to this field is rooted in years of hands-on experience supporting refugee families from Syria, Ukraine, and Afghanistan through a resettlement organization. She has assisted with housing and educational support, led tutoring efforts for children, and founded a volunteer initiative to expand community involvement in refugee aid. This work continues to inform her desire to help shape more compassionate, effective global migration policy.
