Anar Akhundov

Program Coordinator

Anar Akhundov is the Program Coordinator at Network 20/20. Before joining Network 20/20, Anar worked at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, where he oversaw the Museum’s live daytime programming and helped plan the speaker series and large-scale events. He previously worked at the Foreign Policy Association in a number of capacities including: program manager of Global Career Boot Camps, membership coordinator and marketing associate.

Anar was born and raised in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Growing up, he enjoyed being a part of the debate club and in fact his team got first place at the national debate championship of Azerbaijan in 2004.

Outside of work, he pursues his passion for soccer and follows religiously Manchester United. As a loyal Manchester United fan, he hopes in the future to one day spend time in Manchester to further support his team.

He holds a B.S. in Marketing from Elmhurst College in Chicago and speaks four languages.
