A conversation with Senator Tom Daschle

Senator Tom Daschle served for more than 25 years in the House of Representatives and the Senate. In 2007, he joined with former Majority Leaders George Mitchell, Bob Dole, and Howard Baker to create the Bipartisan Policy Center, an organization dedicated to finding common ground on some of the pressing public policy challenges of our time. Senator Daschle serves on the board of the National Democratic Institute and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Senator Daschle is currently Special Public Policy Advisor at Alston + Bird LLP where he provides strategic advice on issues such as climate change, energy, health care, trade, financial services and telecommunications.
