Marketing and Membership Director (part-time)
Michelle Harris has over 15 years of nonprofit experience and has built an extensive executive career in membership acquisition and retention, community engagement, nonprofit operations, strategy and marketing – focused on research-driven solutions to increase revenue and customer engagement.
She most recently served as the Vice President of Business Development and External Affairs at the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors where she led the marketing, branding and external affairs initiatives. Michelle has worked to further the collaboration, advocacy, and advancement of the technology, finance, clean energy and healthcare industries, focusing on creating new strategic initiatives and designing unique partnerships that foster innovation.
Michelle serves on the boards of the American Diabetes Association and theYMCA. She holds a Master of Science degree with a Marketing concentration from the University of Maryland and a BA in urban planning.
