Program and Research Intern
Giulia Vigoriti is a political science student at Columbia University and SciencesPo Paris. A firm believer in the power of inclusion and democracy for sustainable development, Giulia recently helped raise a $20,000 donation for the New York-based NGO Sanctuary for Families, that supports survivors of gender-based violence.She spent her time at SciencesPo minoring in Middle Eastern and North African Studies and holding leadership positions in multiple student organizations. She has worked with Global Research and Consulting, advising Thai, Israeli, and Swedish NGOs on expanding their reach, and travelled to Jordan to research urban development and civil society. She has been a research intern at Intesa San Paolo, one of Europe’s largest banks, studying new technologies and sustainability.Giulia is currently developing an open-source website that makes democracy scores more accessible for academics and policymakers, helping users identify discrepancies and potential biases among various sources. In the future she wants to work as a political consultant.
