Robert Hagemann is a 40 Under 40 award winner, and an entrepreneur and marketing strategy consultant based in New York City. He is currently actively consulting in the cannabis industry, acting as a marketing and brand advisor to major investors looking to fund or acquire brands. He serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence for the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs, through which he advises start-ups and founders and guides them on their paths to success. He also serves as the Consumer sector lead and accelerator liaison for the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of New York, and is also an active angel investor with the Gaingels and StartOut organizations. He specifically invests in organizations with female, minority, and/or LGBT+ founders.
Prior to his current roles, Robert built and sold his own business in the craft spirits industry, and led brands/divisions at several market-leading consumer products companies, including Unilever, Mondelez International, and L’Oreal. He also helped to guide strategy at a boutique luxury-focused consulting company and an artificial intelligence start-up.
Robert is a member of the Board of Directors of Network 20/20. He is also a member of the board of directors of the American Lung Association. Robert holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from The College of the Holy Cross.
