Communication and Social Media Intern 
Juan Moncaleano is a master’s student in Global Studies at Bard College. With a BA in Government and Public Affairs from Universidad de los Andes, they focus on NGO diplomacy, public health, global governance, and gender and armed conflict studies, all through the lens of understanding foreign policy in the Americas. Their academic experiences in Colombia, the U.S., Germany, Hungary, and Kyrgyzstan contribute the cultural fluency necessary to connect with individuals worldwide who are interested in international issues. Juan has worked at UniAndes as a researcher on projects in collaboration with Indiana University, LSE, and the Botnar Foundation. They also serve in governance roles for IPPF and its member association in Colombia.
