Jeffrey W. Ziglar has over 13 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets structuring and investment and derivative strategies. Since October 2012, Mr. Ziglar has worked as a Managing Director and Head of the Global Macro Strategy group at Jefferies & Company advising on macro events and investment structures and outcomes across interest rate, currency, commodity, equity and credit indices and structured product markets.
Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr. Ziglar spent 6 years at Goldman Sachs in the hedge fund strategy group and as head of the municipal structured product business, advising the firm and its clients on investment strategies across products and co-authoring the strategy piece “State of the Markets”. In 2007, Mr. Ziglar was awarded the MTN-I deal of the year for the first ever of its kind, US Agency issued dual-indexed Note. Mr. Ziglar began his career in investment banking and capital markets at UBS in 1999 advising and structuring infrastructure, housing and public power transactions for clients including the Dallas Cowboys (lead banker) and New York Yankees (team advisor) as well as thirteen U.S. state housing agencies.
Mr. Ziglar holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, is a Certified Hedge Fund Professional, and a member of Senator Tom Coburn’s advisory committee.
