Gioia Zwack

Bio

Gioia has been actively involved with the residential real estate market in New York City for 35 years, 33 of them at Stribling, where she is a member of the Presidents Circle. She is known for making what can be an arduous process interesting and fun, and is a thorough, imaginative, and hardworking advocate for her clients. Gioia has a multicultural background, having grown up in New York City, Austria, and Italy. She is fluent in German and Italian. In the 1980’s, Gioia drove the backroads of East and Central Europe in a tiny car to research decrepit but architecturally important properties. Subsequently, she was chosen by the World Monuments Fund to be their Consultant for Central European Affairs and became involved in several notable restoration efforts, including the restoration of the Lichtenstein Palace Complex in Moravia and Vienna’s Belvedere Gardens.

After WMF completed these projects Gioia continued to lead efforts both on behalf of, and independently of, the organization in that region. Gioia thoroughly enjoys New York City and its constantly evolving real estate market. She loves living and working in a place where adventure can be found every day through exploring new neighborhoods, new properties, and in meeting and working closely with the city’s endlessly talented and diverse population.
